Veranstalter: Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft Did you know that in the last four years the UK has had Four Prime Ministers, Six Foreign Secretaries, Seven Home Secretaries, Five Chancellors of the Exchequer, and Six Environment Secretaries? And that depending on the outcome of the extremely significant by-election that will be taking place on Thursday 18th June, there could be an increase in each of those numbers by the end of 2026? To see what exactly is happening in the UK and to find out the reaction of British voters, we invite you to our Meeting. After a short introduction to explain the background to the present situation, there will be ample opportunity to give opinions and ask questions of our guests from our twin city Leeds and to reflect on possible similarities with the situation in Germany.
