This is a week-long intensive course meant to make you loosen up and feel at ease in English-speaking situations abroad and overseas, when no teacher or textbook is around to prop you up. School English or any other prior English-speaking experience would be preferable. Proposed topics: travel, hotel reservations, airport check-in, clearing customs, ordering a meal, car rentals, asking for directions, and friendly chit-chat with English-speaking folks (about cooking, family, holidays, etc.), as well as contemporary issues relating to society, education, healthcare, and many more.  If you love speaking the language and making new friends, you are halfway there.
