English - B1 Level - Brush up and boost your skills! This course is designed for learners who want to communicate more confidently in everyday life, travel and work. The focus is on active speaking and listening: you will practise real-life situations, express opinions, describe experiences, make plans and share ideas. We are also going to read about current affairs and topics of interest, mainly from contributions from the Spotlight Magazine. By reading out aloud we can appreciate the beauty of words. Participants are encouraged to contribute their own observations and opinions. Through engaging dialogues, role-playing and group discussions, you will expand your vocabulary, improve grammar and learn strategies to keep conversations flowing naturally. By the end of the course you should feel comfortable participating in conversations and handling common social situations with confidence and enjoyment.
Andrea Eisenhut ist seit 2018 als Dozentin für Englischkurse an unserer Volkshochschule tätig. Sie kann auf einen mehrjährigen Aufenthalt in Großbritannien zurückblicken. Sie verfügt über das CELTA-Zertifikat, also eine anerkannte Qualifikation für das Unterrichten von Englisch als Fremdsprache.
