This lively, practice-oriented course equips learners with the essential language for airports, hotels, restaurants and travelling in general. Target: - to develop functional fluency for travel situations - to increase confidence when speaking spontaneously - to understand cultural expectations in global travel - to communicate clearly in unexpected or stressful moments Content: - Airport, hotel and transportation dialogues - asking for information and directions - travel emergencies and problem-solving - polite requests, complaints and explanations - interacting with locals and other travellers - travel role-plays and authentic listening tasks To bring with you: - travel experiences - enthusiasm and a willingness to role-play Teaching material will be announced in class.
