Get in touch with English — Intensive Week (A2 – B1) Bildungsurlaub

In this course, we are going to look into the language of a variety of everyday situations: what you may hear and could say at the airport, hotel, supermarket, and restaurant. We are going to deal with email writing and making appointments as well. The weeklong course will be interactive and communicative; we are not going to spend the whole week on grammar and vocabulary drills. The main focus will be on giving you greater confidence in English. Learn strategies to “survive” difficult situations in which you don’t seem to have all the words you need. The course is ideal for students at a pre-intermediate and lower intermediate level who want to brush up or improve their English skills for a great variety of everyday situations. Dieses Seminar richtet sich sowohl an Teilnehmer: innen, die ihre Grundkenntnisse auf gutem Niveau weiter festigen wollen, als auch an solche, die ihre bereits fortgeschrittenen Sprachkenntnisse konsolidieren wollen. Dieser Kurs wird einen Blick auf das moderne allgemeinsprachliche Englisch werfen und so den Teilnehmer: innen helfen, sich in der englischsprachigen Welt von heute leichter zurechtzufinden, bzw. mit ihr in Verbindung zu treten. Aus diesem Grund wird der Kurs sehr interaktiv und kommunikativ sein: Das Hauptaugenmerk liegt darauf, mehr Sicherheit im Umgang mit der englischen Sprache in Alltagssituationen zu vermitteln.
